The new grounding lug is designed for mounting on rails with sliding nut fasteners or non-metallic structures where a continuous grounding wire is needed. The new design is simple and intuitive to use - the same bolt is now used to attach the optimizer to a rail and to fix the grounding lug to the optimizer.
