SMA RS 232 Communication Module

Allows remote communications and control between a single Sunny Boy and a Windows based PC. Requires SMA Sunny Data Software on our web site. Installed in place of LCD display, additional cable required between Sunny Boy inverter and the PC. This option can only be used to communicate between one inverter and a computer at a time. To communicate between multiple inverters, use either Powerline Carrier or RS 485. For RS 232 communication to work effectively, the PC and the inverter must be located within 50 Feet (15 meters) of one another.
