KidWind Drivetrain Set

The Drivetrain Set features the hex driveshaft, Hub Quick Connect, hex locks, and wooden spool used in the Advanced Wind Experiment Kit. These materials can be very helpful if you are designing your own turbine for a science fair, classroom experiment, or KidWind Challenge. The attached Hub Quick Connect makes it a breeze to interchange hubs and rotor designs on a geared or weight-lifting wind turbine.

If you have an old KidWind "ALTurbine" kit, you can also upgrade/retrofit your old turbine with this new bend-resistant driveshaft and no-slip gear hex locks.
