During the middle of the last century, KACO’s mechanical AC-“choppers”
created the basis for today’s reliable inverters. Reliability has
remained a key characteristic of all blue planet inverters. They still
focus on the exclusive use of convection cooling for our inverters.

parts like fans.
Blue Planet Grid-Tied Inverters
The KACO Solar blue planet product family has set new standards in
photovoltaic applications - particularly with regard to reliability,
efficiency and power density, and a patented technology to meet
state-of-the-art requirements.
The 1501xi is solely cooled
by convection which enhances longevity and reliability. Therefore, heat
is dissipated via the rear heat sink and residual heat is radiated by
the aluminum surface of the enclosure. We have chosen this design to
eliminate the need for fans and blowers, which contain movable parts
and are highly susceptible to failures. This innovation ensures your
KACO blue planet inverter will last far longer than force cooled
inverters.
